5/05/09

Language Arts: This morning was a short but busy morning. We read chapters 8-10 in The Sign of the Beaver, discussed our literary terms found in those chapters, and found our vocabulary. We even found a few minutes to do some reflective writing.Tomorrow will be short because of our P.B.A. day , but we will complete the graphic organizer for chapters 8-10 and have a short comprehension check.

Homework:
***Read and record minutes in planners.
***All literary terms and vocabulary should be completed up to chapter 10. Class time is given each day to complete the work.
***Reflecting writing is due tomorrow. It should be 1/2 page in length.
***You may use your independent reading time tonight to reread chapters 5-10 to prepare for our comprehension check tomorrow. Please record these minutes in your planner.
***Our Wax Museum is next week. Do you have your facts memorized?
