Language Arts:
Today was a busy one this morning. We finished all but one of our reading project presentations, read the play aloud as our weekly story, switched for Vocabulary Vine, and worked on our grammar skill for the week which is homophones.
Homework:

Reminders:
***Friday is our normal library time, but since the Galaxy Gallery is on Thursday night, I switched our library time this week to Thursday morning. I thought this would give the students a better selection at the book fair. Please remember your money if you wish to purchase books that day.
*** Tomorrow is hat day! Remember your $1 to help with the purchase of nets to help prevent the spread of malaria.

Math:
Today was a busy one in math. We worked on many kinds of review problems with Unit 9 and worked quite a bit of problem solving. We also worked on finding the volume of a variety of different shapes. We will continue with this tomorrow.

Social Studies:
Today we reviewed the Executive Branch of Government and continued our discussion with the Legislative Branch and the Judicial Branch. Tomorrow will be the last day of this rotation.
