Math:
Today in math we completed our minute, worked on computation that involved algebraic equations as a review, worked on problem solving, graded our homework, and discussed tessellations again. We ended the class period by discussing "Memorable Numbers" and working on a Checking Progress.

Homework:
***Math Box 10.1

Social Studies:
Today we started chapter 8 which deals with slavery. This seemed to be a topic of great interest! Hands were up the entire time and everyone had something to say about it. We discussed dilemmas that we have had in our lives as a way to understand some of the dilemmas that African Americans had when they arrived in the Americas. I think that this is going to be a fun chapter based on what I could tell today!

Homework:
***None

Reminders:
***Camp forms and money are due soon.

Until tomorrow...
