Welcome Back!

Language Arts:
Today we started our new story for the week. With only two more stories in this unit, we will soon be doing our last novel study for the year. The students are looking forward to it.

Grammar:
The skill for the week is comparative and superlative adjectives as well as using the dictionary.

Reminders/Homework:
***Our class will be taking the Reading MAP test on Wednesday during our computer time.

We reviewed problem solving today and worked on rotation symmetry.

Social Studies:
We continued reading and discussing slavery in chapter 8 today as well as the third dilemma that Africans faced during their captivity as a slave.

Homework:
***Looking ahead- Our chapter 8 test will be on Friday after a review on Wednesday.

***All camp forms and money are due on Friday.
