4/21/10

I am glad to be back today after being out of the building yesterday.

We had a great visit at Discovery today. The students were excited and asked a lot of great questions to their ambassadors. Remember the important parent meeting next week on April 27 at Discovery.

Language Arts:
Language Arts was short today due to our trip to Discovery. We did find time to review our grammar skill, switch for Vocabulary Vine, and work on an Author's Perspective chart that the students will find useful when working on their weekly comprehension questions.

Homework:

***Study spelling
***Work on your reading project-The due date is right around the corner.

Math:
We had math first thing this morning due to MAP testing. We reviewed a variety of skills on white boards, reviewed RIT vocabulary with examples, and worked on problem solving.

Social Studies:
Today we read and discussed Chapter 11. It is the last day of our rotation.
