Language Arts:
Today was a busy day. Right after specials we worked a bit on handwriting and then jumped back into our novel study. After discussing our chapter 6 questions, the students listened as I read chapters 7 and 8. They were given time in class to work on the comprehension questions for those chapters.
Homework:
***Our Reading NWEA Map Testing is on Friday at 8:00
***Chapters 7-8 questions are due tomorrow
***We still need FIMO clay and decorations for our project next week.
***We will be having a quiz tomorrow over chapters 6-8

Math:
Today was a mixed up schedule with math due to Map testing. During our time together we worked on a variety of skills during our computation time, graded our homework, and worked on some rate examples. Our practice test is scheduled for Unit 12-tomorrow. The test will be on Thursday.

Social Studies:
During our class we paraded around our room with our protest posters and had a good discussion about segregation. The students were then given a handout that contained a writing assignment. They are asked to write a letter that contains information about their visit to the Southeast region of the United States.This is due for my homeroom on Thursday.

***Our Chapter 6 test will be next Tuesday. Study guides were passed out today.
