Language Arts:
Today in Language Arts, we discussed our questions from chapters 7-8 and listened as I read chapter 9 of our novel study. The students were given time to complete their questions in class. (We only had four questions and a writing reflection today.)

***Our Wax museum is right after break. Folders and drawing paper were passed out at the beginning of last week. I am happy to hear that so many students are putting on the finishing touches and practicing their facts already. Keep it up!

We reviewed today for our Unit 12 test. The students have a practice test that they can review for the test tomorrow.

Social Studies:(Doms)
Today we had our protest march and discussed segregation as it was in the 1950s in the Southeast region. The students were they given a task to complete. They need to write a letter discussing their tour of the region.(See the handout.) This letter is not due until Monday for Mrs. Doms' homeroom students. Study guides were also passed out. The Chapter 6 test will be next Wednesday, Dec. 15.
Social Studies;(Suddarth)
***Your letters are due on Friday, Dec. 10. Your test will be on Tuesday of next week. Please be sure to use your study guide to study from.
Other Information:
***My homeroom will be having Art Smart tomorrow. I've been warned that we are using clay. Please dress appropriately. We don't want anyone to mess up their good clothes.
***Tomorrow is our National Blue Ribbon Assembly. Our t-shirts will be passed out tomorrow.
