Language Arts:
Today we continued working with the comparative and superlative adjectives more and most. We also practiced using commas when using introductory words that are not part of the complete subject or predicate. Before Vocabulary Vine, we also worked on the illustrations of our published books. Finally, we spent some time digging through our basal finding character traits that described the two main characters of this weeks story. This was really fun for the kids!

Today we read and discussed the summary of chapter 10 and started on our letter about the Southwest. This letter has specific guidelines and the directions should be followed. The students will need to turn in their rough draft in pencil/cursive as well as their final copy either typed or in ink. This is due for Mrs. Doms class on Friday(3/18/11)
Until tomorrow...
