Language Arts:
Today in class we jumped right to business after double specials. We took our spelling pretest, reviewed both plural and possessive nouns, and spent the remainder of our class time working on our novel study. Today in class we read chapters 39-42.

Social Studies:(Suddarth)
Mr. Kistler continued with chapter 6 today while he discussed the settlements of Roanoke and Jamestown. The students filled in a Venn Diagram that will be helpful to study.

***Study guides were passed out last week. The chapter 6 test will be given on Thursday and Friday of this week. Please review the study guide.
Just so you know...
***Mr. Kistler will be leaving us this Friday. Several students asked if they could bring in a small gift, school supply, or book to put into our basket as a going away gift from his classes. This is not expected, of course, but if you would like to send in a small trinket, I will be collecting items and cards to present to Mr. Kistler at the end of the day on Friday. He will be missed!
