Another ISTEP day is behind us! We have one more day to go!
Language Arts:
We had some time in between tests today to work on our skills for the week. We worked on the comparative and superlative form of the irregular adjectives good and bad. We also had some time to do a "Round Robin Writing". This has become quite a fun activity for the students and their writing proves it! This helps practice organization, details, and word choice. Finally, we took some time to work on two short read a louds and practiced reading comprehension questions that went along with each one.
Homework:
***Green State Float sheet is due tomorrow with a parent signature and sketch.
***This Friday is the last day to take AR tests for our trophies.
***Remember that each student is required to read and pass at least two AR books in their lexile range. Is your child reading each night?
***State floats are due in less than two weeks.
