Hang in there! It is hard to believe that we only have 4 more days left. The kids are obviously very excited and ready. Please encourage them to stay focused for a few more days. We need to get several things accomplished before the end of the week.
Reminders:
***We are not having a story this week which means that we will not have Fluency and Flow or a spelling test . These means that they have more time to independent read at home.
***We are still in need of a few parent volunteers on Wednesday. If you can join us, please fill out the half sheet that was sent home last week. We would love to have you!
Today in Language Arts we reviewed base words, spelling rules, worked on a creative writing project with our reading buddies, completed our language daily, listened to a few chapters in our read a loud, and finally presented some our Treasure Box projects. I was impressed with the presentations this time around. All the students were very confident and presented with a loud voice and great eye contact.

Today in Math we worked in groups. I worked with students introducing Algebra concepts and dividing fraction s while others continued to work on their CRT.
