It is really starting to get chilly! Don't forget your jacket for recess!
Language Arts:
Today in Language Arts we were busy as usual for a Monday. We took our spelling pretest, reviewed our new story vocabulary and listened to it on tape. (This week we are reading Mystic Horse.) We also worked on linking verbs, reviewed our new RIT vocabulary, and listened to our read a loud.
Homework:
***Weekly homework packet is due on Friday
(Please be sure that students are writing complete, detailed sentences.)
***Are you working on your biography and file folder work? Refer to the packet if you have questions...
***RIT vocabulary should be studied EVERY week. Regardless if the students know if they are having a quiz or not, reviewing is necessary!

Social Studies: (Doms)
Today we started Chapter 5. This is a short chapter. We discussed population density, reviewed our three vocabulary words for the chapter, and discussed how population effects how people live. Study guides were passed out today for this short chapter. Tests will be next week before Thanksgiving break.
Until tomorrow...
