I am sorry that I did not blog over the weekend...
Language Arts:
Today in Language Arts we were busy as usual for a Monday. Right after having double specials, we took our spelling pretest, reviewed our new RIT words for the week, discussed our new story vocabulary, and listened to our story on tape. We also worked on white boards practicing helping verbs and their tenses.
Weekly homework packets were also passed out as usual today. This week, I am asking all the students to start writing their work in cursive. Please be sure that it is all completed this way.
Homework:
***Every student needs their biography book checked by me. This is an assignment. It was due today.They are due no later than tomorrow. If not, "Oops" slips will be issued.

Math:
Today we completed our minute and reviewed for our Unit 10 test which will be tomorrow. The students have a study guide that they should look over to be prepared for the upcoming test.

Social Studies:(Doms)
Today we watched a short video clip that goes along with what we have been studying in chapter 4. We also spent some time reviewing for our chapter 4 test . The test is tomorrow for my homeroom and on Wednesday for Mrs. Doms' class. Be sure to look over the study guide that was passed out last week.
