Language Arts:
Today in Language Arts we switched for Vocabulary Vine, discussed pronouns and antecedents, reviewed our Word Master words, and listened to our read aloud.
During computer lab, we took the time to continue typing our published book pages. We also spent the last part of our Language Arts time having a read-in. At this time, everyone was busy reading and logging minutes for their in school reading time.

***Read and record minutes-calendars are due on Friday. We need everyone to step it up and read, read,read!
***Word Master test tomorrow
***Has your child read and passed their 3 AR tests yet? Remember that 3 books passed is the 3rd grading period reading requirement. Keep encouraging them at home to read AR books and take the tests.
***Reading projects(poster) is right around the corner.

Math:
During math class today we completed our minute, practiced computation, and spent the remainder of the class time working in small groups on the practice test for Unit 8. The test tomorrow will be very similar to the practice test.

***Review the practice test problems.

Social Studies:
Today in Social Studies we were able to hear presentations by 5 different groups. The students presented information that they learned about their assigned explorer. We will continue with these later in the week.

Homework:
***Review chapter 5 a little each night. The test over it will be some time mid week next week.
