Language Arts:
Today was short again due to Math MAP testing. We were able to read and discuss chapters 12 and 13 in our novel study, work on our vocabulary, and write one journal entry from chapters 11-13.

***Work on your Tic-Tac- Toe activities(Due at the end of next week)
***Teacher for a Day- This sheet was passed out today. Students will need to get their lesson approved by next Tuesday. We will actually be doing this the last week of school. This will be their presentation grade for the 4th grading period.
***ISTEP starts next week. Please be looking for the email or handout by each homeroom teacher.

Math:
We had a very long math class today. While our last six friends finished up their MAP test, we completed a minute, worked on computation on white boards, worked on mental math and math terminology as well as starting our next unit.
Just so you know... MAP scores were fantastic! I shared with each student what their expected growth for the year was suppose to be and what they actually grew. Their growth was amazing! We have a great group of very hard-working kids!
