Our first day of ISTEP is over! I was proud of how well focused the kids were. Tomorrow and Thursday is all we have left. We can do this!
Math:
Today was a mixed up schedule. We did not have a regular math class. We ISTEP tested instead.
Language Arts:
Due to our mixed up schedule, we had a short Language Arts time. We were , however, able to get two chapters read and discussed in our novel study. The students also had some time to work on their journal entries and their Tic-Tac-Toe activities.
Social Studies:(Suddarth)
Today we traveled through Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii. We even stopped to plan a 4-day itinerary of fun excursions that we, as a class, could experience. Study guides were passed out today for Chapter 12. Our test will be sometime next week. I will let the students know by Friday when it will be exactly.
