Another beautiful day!
It is hard to believe that another week is over. The kids have a count down of days left of school. Please be aware that as the days roll by, final projects are due, testing is upon us, and field trips and special events creep up.
Language Arts: We completed our usual assessments this morning, read a few chapters in our new read a loud, and played a fun game of "I have... Who has?" to practice comparative and superlative adjectives.

***Our Wax Museum is May 15th. Please see the orange handout for specific requirements and the rubric.
***All library books are due on May 15th. Please help Mrs. Konopinski in collecting all the books on time.
***April 29th will be the last day to take AR tests.
***We will take our Reading MAP test on Monday, April 20th.

Math: We continued with computation and practicing a variety of skills as well as our study of graphs, tables, and charts. We will have a test over Unit 10 towards the end of next week. Wednesday will be used for the those students who did not finish the Math MAP testing.

Content:
We did not have content today. Instead we had a special assembly in the gym with Skylar Diggins. The students were really inspired by her accomplishments and encouragement.
Homework:
***Practice book pages 42-46 are due on Monday. (Time in class was given to work on these pages.)
***Lesson 1-Quiz was passed out today. If you need to get it signed by a parent and returned to school, it is due on Monday.
***Our Chapter 6 test will be on Tuesday.
