Hooray! We are finally done with ISTEP+
Language Arts: We spent the entire day in Language Arts groups today. We had one Science test before specials, one during our regular Math time, and one right after lunch. I am so proud of how hard the students worked this week. I know that it was an exhausting week for them and I am proud of the fact that they put forth their personal best. We are done with ISTEP+ for another year!
We also found a short amount of time to work on our novel study. We summarized chapters 3 and 4, completed a graphic organizer, and added some vocabulary and literary examples to our chart. (Please remind your child to keep up with these each night. Class time is given each day to work on them.) We will have a quiz tomorrow over chapters 1-4 as well as time for starting our Tic-Tac-Toe. Next Monday we will read and discuss chapters 5-7.
Homework:
***None- You may look over your graphic organizers or reread chapters 1-4.
***Read and record minutes in your planner. We need to continue to read and log our minutes until school is over.

Math: We did not have Math today due to testing. We will have Math tomorrow. We are planning on a Unit 11 test sometime towards the middle of next week. (Volume/Capacity)

Content: We did not have content today. We will have a short quiz tomorrow over Chapter 4- lesson 1 after we review it again. We will go over lesson 2 as well. Our discussion for the day will be over Reading Circle and Line Graphs and Lesson 3(Statehood).
