What a beautiful day!
Language Arts:
Today was a great day! We took the usual vocabulary quiz, discussed the questions, and read our next to the last chapter in our book. We also spent some time working in small groups doing some script writing. The students will be writing and performing a scene from our novel in which they will graded on the Indiana Standards of Listening and Speaking for this first grading period. More information will be coming tomorrow.
Homework:
***Study 5 vocabulary words
***Pick 10 comprehension questions to complete
***Don't forget to study your study guide for Percy. This is an essential tool in preparing for the test which will be on Friday.

Today we continued on with reviewing skills from Unit 2. We stressed multiplying by powers of 10 both positive and negative.

We played a review game in order to see how prepared we are for the upcoming chapter 2 test on Monday. Be sure to study the states, capitals, and abbreviations for the Southwest region. This will also be on Monday.
