It was such a short day!
When we arrived at school today, our class went straight to specials. We did not have Language Arts.

***Fluency and Flow Questions due Friday-These should be in cursive.
***Skill sheet is due along with Fluency and Flow on Friday.
***Read 20-30 minutes EVERY night and record your minutes in the planner.
***Reading projects are due on March 6th.
***Cursive packet- due Friday
***Spelling words- 2x each in cursive- due Friday

Today in Math we learned a folding method for figuring out what a fraction of a fraction is.
The students found that this was a very time consuming method but it is an alternative method that Everyday Mathematics teaches as an alternative. For test purposes, they can use whichever method they feel the most comfortable with.

Today in Social Studies we reviewed lesson 3 again and filled out our Study Guide for Friday's test. The students should review their Study Guides each night to review the material covered that day in class.

***Question of the Day: Name the three branches of the government with a sentence describing each one.(The students should use their book for this.)
***Chapter 5 test- Friday
