Today was a busy day around here! The students were excited about viewing all the Science Fair projects in the gym and I heard many interesting conversations about different projects. It sounds like they all learned a lot about the scientific process. Congratulations to all our winners!
Language Arts:
We reviewed again our grammar skill for the week, practiced some ISTEP review, typed some of our poetry during computer lab, and worked on a great piece of writing that will be included in our published books.
Homework:
***Fluency and Flow, Spelling words in cursive, Spelling packet, assessments- due Friday
***Reading projects are due on March 6th

Math:
Today in Math we took our Unit 7 test. We will start Unit 8 tomorrow. The next unit deals with fractions.

Social Studies:
Today we reviewed Chapter 5-Lesson 1, took our quiz over it, and completed practice book page 37. We will work on lesson 2 tomorrow and Friday. (This is a short chapter with only 3 lessons.)
