Language Arts:
Today in Language Arts we listened to our read a loud and then it was back into the basal to start Unit 2. Now that our novel study is complete, we will be working on stories from the reading book, comprehension skills, RIT vocabulary, grammar, and spelling once again. Be looking for our Weekly Homework Packet as well.
Today we read Shiloh and practiced idioms and making inferences. In grammar we discussed common and proper nouns. For most of us, this was fairly easy. Spelling this week is a little tricky. Be sure to study your words a little every night. Finally, we squeezed in 1/2 an hour to meet with our 3rd grade reading buddies.

Math:
Today in math we completed our minute and spent some time working on review skills on our white boards. The remainder of the class was spent working on Unit 4 Checking Progress. We will begin Unit 5 today. This unit deals with Geometry.

Content:
We painted and assembled our land form projects today. With the last few minutes remaining, we worked on our chapter 2 picture dictionaries.
Today was our last day of this rotation. Mrs. Doms' class will return to their homeroom tomorrow and have her for Science. I will have my homeroom for the next rotation. My homeroom will begin on chapter 3.
