What a nice day!
Language Arts: We had a short morning today due to double specials but we were very busy. We reviewed common and proper nouns, reviewed examples of our RIT vocabulary, read our weekly story independently, did a quick review of our weekly spelling words, and worked on our handwriting. Also at 10:20 everyone dropped everything and started to write about whatever was on their mind. It was interesting to read what everyone was thinking about at 10:20 on 10/20!
Homework:
***Weekly Homework Packet is due on Friday. It has new components this week so do not wait until the last minute to work on it!

Today in math we completed our minute, reviewed skills on white boards during our computation time, and jumped in to Unit 5. This unit deals with geometry so we spent some time today drawing and measuring angles as well as estimating their measure. We even found some time to play an Everyday Mathematics game- Angle Tangle.
