What a dreary day!
Language Arts:
This morning after we got back from Vocabulary Vine, we discussed chapter 9 in detail. We spent the rest of the time before double specials, reading and working on chapter 10 figurative terms and the comprehension questions.
Homework:
***Chapter 10 comprehension questions
***The last day to take AR for this grading period is Oct. 16th. Remember you must pass the test with an 80% or better-If not, you must read another book on your level. Do not wait until the last minute.
***Reading projects are due next week.

Math:
We spent some time at the beginning of our class in the computer lab working on Study Island math skills. In class we worked on adding fractions with unlike denominators.

Content:
We did not have Social Studies today. We had our first Art Smart. We were lucky enough to have three mom helpers today. Thank you so much!
Next week will be a busy one for us in Social Studies. We will have our test over Chapter 3 and create land form projects in small groups. New rotations will start on Oct. 19th. I will have my homeroom students back at that time.
