The last day of this grading period...
Language Arts:
Today was a busy one! After Vocabulary Vine, we completed a worksheet together using our spelling words and their meanings, practiced common and proper nouns, worked with our editing partners in finding grammatical mistakes in two different paragraphs, and listened to our read a loud.
During computer lab time, we created our own sentences using both common and proper nouns and color coded them.
Writing: We spent time working on our writing piece using transition words. Many students finished theirs in class today but it is homework if it was not completed in class.

Math:
Today in math we completed our minute, worked on algebraic expressions during computation time, reviewed the RIT vocabulary that we've worked on so far this year, and jumped into measuring even more difficult angles.

We did not have Social Studies today because of D.A.R.E.
