And the winner is...

Today was full of interesting conversations about the election. I was surprised at how interested our students were about the outcome. They were also very outspoken about their opinions as well!

Today in Language Arts, we added 5 word roots to our Vocabulary Vine, had our fourth bullying session by Mrs. Slater our Youth Service Counselor, listened to half a chapter in our read aloud, and finished our concrete poems. (They look great displayed on our wall!)

In Computer Lab, we worked on possessive singular and plural nouns in the Classworks program. This should help the students with the Grammar test on Friday.

Homework: Fluency and Flow/Spelling test -Friday
Family Homework- See the Green or white sheet that was sent home today-This is a school wide project. It is due in two weeks.(Nov. 19)

In Math, we completed our minute, worked on computation, graded our homework, added words to our RIT Math vocabulary notebook. (Ask your child what new words they learned so far this week.), and worked again with reflections and transparent mirrors.

Homework: Page 296, 298

In Social Studies, most of us finished up our time lines. Those students who did not finish will need to complete theirs by Friday, Nov.7. The last day of this rotation is early next week.

Homework: Finish time line-due Nov. 7
