Winter Weather Wednesday!
Reminders:
***It sure was chilly today! Please make sure that your child wears a hat and gloves to school. Recess can get very chilly!
***Tomorrow is a P.B.A. day. Students will arrive at school 2 1/2 hours later. While they get to sleep a little longer, teachers will be in meetings.
***Family Homework is due next Wednesday, Nov. 19. I look forward to seeing all the family projects that will be displayed throughout the hallways.
***Dazzle's Craft Night is Thursday from 5:30-7:30.
Today in Language Arts, we added 6 word parts to our Vocabulary Vine, listened to a chapter in our read aloud, worked on Classworks in the computer lab, had our last bullying session with Mrs. Slater, and worked on our family writing piece.
Homework:
***Fluency and Flow is due Friday. We will also have our independent spelling test.
*** Read for 20-30 minutes/ Record your minutes.
***Continue working on our second reading project. The due date is December 12th.
***Family homework is due on November 19th.
In Math today we worked our minute, reviewed computation skills on our white boards, graded our homework, and took our Unit 10 test. Be looking for these tests to come home early next week for a parent signature.

During Content time, the students had D.A.R.E. Please look for a note in their planners tomorrow. I am planning on having a quiz over lessons 1-3 on Tuesday of next week and their book test on Thursday, Nov. 20.
