Keep cleaning out those kitchen cupboards- We need more food!

Thank you to everyone who has participated in our food drive so far. As of today, we have a lot of different items, but we are still in need of many things. Any contribution you can make will be greatly appreciated! We will accept items tomorrow and Friday morning. We are packing boxes during our lunch time on Friday.

Today in Language Arts, we had independent reading during Vocabulary Vine, reviewed past, present and future tense verbs, listened to our read aloud, worked on Classworks in the computer lab, and spent our writing time on our "Family" writing.

The Family homework is amazing! I can't wait for the students to share it next week!

Homework:
***Fluency/Flow and Spelling test-Friday
***Family writing is due tomorrow if it was not completed and turned in today.
***Read and record minutes in planners. The end of the month is soon approaching!

In Math today, we completed our minute, reviewed the computation skill of Order of Operations, and spent the remainder of our class time working on volume and capacity. Our review will be next Tuesday, and our test over Unit 11 will be on Wednesday of next week.

Homework: Math Box 11.5 and two volume sheets

We did not have content today. We had Art Smart instead. Thank you to Mrs. Schatz and Mrs. Walsh for a fantastic lesson. The students talked about Picasso and were able to create a self portrait. They look great and the students had fun!

Reminders:
***If you are in Ms. Grannan's homeroom, you will have your Chapter 3 Social Studies test tomorrow.
***Friday is mismatched day. If you bring in $1.00, you may wear mismatched clothing. The money will be donated to the Indiana Food Bank.
*** Our second reading project is due on December 12.

Until tomorrow...
