I was out of the building all day yesterday. I am glad to be back!
Today in Language Arts, we made the most of a double special day. We started off with adding four word parts to our Vocabulary Vine, read a chapter in our read aloud, and worked on singular and plural possessive nouns. We also worked on conventions with writing a letter.
Homework: Fluency and Flow is due on Friday.

In Math we completed our minute, worked on computation, and took our pre-test for the actual test tomorrow. The students do have the correct answers so the pre-test is actually a great study guide.

Social Studies- Welcome back Ms. Grannan's class!
Today we briefly reviewed Chapters 1 and 2 that we discussed last grading period and discussed Chapter 3 -lesson 1. If everything goes as planned, we will have a short quiz over Chapter 3- Lessons 1-3 on Monday as well as a review of the material in a game format. The actual book test will be on Tuesday of next week. (This chapter only has three lessons but I want to make the information as easy to understand as possible. Please look for updates on the quiz/test in your child's planner.
