Basketball Mania....
Tonight is the Women's Notre Dame basketball game. Come and join other Northpoint friends to cheer on the Irish girls. The school with the most participation wins a prize!
Adopt A Family information was sent home tonight. Our classroom will be adopting a family with three children. The family has two 10 year olds and 1 fourteen year old. Please discuss with your family at home whether or not you would like to bring a clothing item or a toy. I will be asking my kids tomorrow what they plan on buying. I would like to keep a list so that each child gets the same number of gifts and an assortment of both clothing and toys. If this is anything like our Thanksgiving giving, I know that it will be a success and we will make someone very happy over the holidays. Thank you in advance for participating in this meaningful project!
Today in Language Arts we added 11 word parts to our Vocabulary Vine. Boy is the list growing! (Please make sure that these are reviewed at home each week. It will be much easier to review each week instead of waiting until the list gets longer.) We also watched a little of our movie that goes right along with our read aloud. I was surprised at the moans and groans when we shut the movie off to go to specials. They are really into it!
