Another busy day!

Today we worked hard in Language Arts. We completed all of our assessments, independently read, and discussed and worked on our "Family" writing. I hope all of you have had a chance to start working on the "Family Homework". A sheet was sent home earlier this week telling all about it. This is a school wide project. While the project will be completed at home, we will do writing about our families here at school during our writing time next week. I am excited to read all about our Northpoint families! From our discussion today in class, it sounds as though some of our students have had several exciting vacations and continue to experience interesting traditions in their personal families.

Homework: Work on Family Homework. It might help if you could discuss at the dinner table what makes your particular family "special". We will be doing a lot of writing next week!
Read 20-30 minutes/Record minutes.

Math- We completed our minute, worked on computation, reviewed briefly for our test.(It will be next Wednesday), graded our homework, and worked on adding and subtracting integers.

Homework: None

Social Studies- We finished up our writing about the Native American tribe of our choice, and completed a worksheet on Longitude and Latitude.

Homework: None

Until Monday....
