We had another great day today!
In Language Arts, we listened to our read aloud, took our Unit 3 assessment, and continued working on our poetry writing. We also added a few more words to our vocabulary and finished up our acrostic poems. In Computer Lab we worked on skills dealing with using reference materials. This will help us on ISTEP+ as well as on our MAP testing. We even had the chance to visit the library today.(This is a schedule change. We will not have library on Friday as usual.)

We will not have Language Arts again until next Monday. We will be in homeroom groups all day on Thursday and Friday.

In Math we completed our minute, reviewed RIT vocabulary, worked on a variety of computation and standards on white boards and played a new math game called Exponent Ball. This game practices using exponential notation. The students had a blast playing it.

Today in Social Studies we reviewed lessons 3 and 4 by playing a game, took a short quiz and worked on practice book pages 31 and 32.
