It is September!
Language Arts:
We were able to cover a lot of material today in Language Arts. We started in grammar by discussing both the subject of a sentence and the predicate. We completed a page in our practice book where we had to make fragments complete sentences by adding a complete predicate. This was a little tricky.
During our writing time, we finished up our "Who Am I" poems and wrote our final copy.
We ended the morning with switching for Vocabulary Vine, practicing our RIT vocabulary, and finding the main idea of a paragraph.
Homework:
***Reading project books must be approved on or before Sept. 3. See Mrs. Suddarth
***Weekly Homework packet is due on Friday
***Spelling Test- Friday
***"Who Am I " poems are due tomorrow if you did not finish it today in class.
