Language Arts:
Today in Language Arts we reviewed both common and proper nouns for our test tomorrow, switched for Vocabulary Vine, met with our reading buddies, listened to our read a loud, and reviewed our spelling words for the test.
Don't forget to review the story vocabulary and the RIT words. We are starting to accumulate quite a few RIT words. We need to know these!

Today we worked on finding the area and perimeter of odd shapes. We also took a quiz covering this skill. Based on the scores from this quiz, it looks like we will be ready for a test early next week. Look for a practice test to come home early in the week.

Social Studies:(Doms)
Today we worked with our partners to create collage pieces that will be placed on our class collage. Each pair was responsible for creating one collage piece that shows how their particular group of people settled in the United States and three collage pieces that show contributions that their group gave to the United States these are due on Monday if they were not finished today.
***My Social Studies class has their pieces due tomorrow during our class period.
