Homework:
***Weekly Homework Packet is due Friday/Spelling Test
***Donations for our basket are due no later than Friday, so I have time to get it assembled.
***Book orders are due by Friday

Math:
We passed back our test from yesterday. Other than a few silly mistakes, I was quite pleased with them. We do need to work on the Open Response type of questioning. Many students gave very vague answers. We will work on this prior to ISTEP testing since they will be required to answer in detailed responses for that test.

We jumped into Unit 8 today which deals with Perimeter and Area. Today we discussed work triangles and discussed the efficiency of our own kitchens based on their perimeter and specific recommendations.

Homework:
***Get the Unit 7 test signed to return tomorrow
***Math Box 8.1

Social Studies:(Suddarth)
***Today we located three places that we would like to visit. We also found the longitude and latitude of those particular places as well as the annual rainfall, and elevation.
We spent quite a bit of time playing a Slap-It game to review for the test which will be on Thursday.

Homework:
***Study for the Social Studies test that will be on Thursday. It is a great idea to read the chapter again and study the vocabulary.

Until tomorrow...
