Social Studies:
Today in Social Studies we read sections 2.8-2.10 and discussed it. Once again we practiced answering questions based on using our interactive desk map.(This is really starting to help students locate specific places on the map.) We also read the Summary and the Reading Further section. During the Reading Further section, we learned a lot about the Mississippi River. We worked with a partner to write three questions for another partner group to answer based on the map. We will continue with these questions on Tuesday(our last day before the test).
Homework:
***Our Chapter 2 test will be on Thursday, September 23. Please encourage your child to start studying early in the week by reading the chapter, studying the vocabulary, and practice using maps.
***Because of the nature of the test, there will not be a study guide for this test.
Until tomorrow...
