Where did the day go?

Language Arts;
This morning in Language Arts we reviewed our grammar skill of the week(common and proper nouns), completed two pages in our workbook, spent some time on our persuasive writing piece, switched for Vocabulary Vine, and reviewed our story and RIT vocabulary.

Homework:
***Reading projects are due on Oct. 18
***Weekly Homework Packet- due Friday
***Be sure to study the story vocabulary and the RIT vocabulary
***If the persuasive writing final copy was not completed in class today, it is homework and due tomorrow.

Math:
We took our math MAP test today. These new scores will be used to set up a new computer program that we just received. We are very excited about our new program! If your child did not finish their MAP test, they will finish it some time next week.

Social Studies:(Suddarth)
Today we worked with our partners taking notes on our assigned group. We also brainstormed ideas for our collages and started drawing one picture that shows how our group settled in the United States and three pictures that show what contributions they made to the United States. If the students did not finish, they will use their morning time and homework time tomorrow to finish up their drawings. If they are not finished at that time, they will become homework and due on Friday.
