Language Arts:
Today in Language Ats we worked with a partner to reread the story for the week and worked in groups to answers the questions that pertained to the story. We specifically talked about details within the story and character traits. We also reviewed the RIT vocabulary, switched for Vocabulary Vine, and met with our second grade reading buddies.

Today in math we reviewed different computation skills and worked on our lesson of the day. Tomorrow will be spent in completing a practice test for our Unit 7 test which will be on Monday.

Social Studies:(Doms)
Today in Social Studies we read section 2.7 and discussed different kinds of special purpose maps. We also worked with a partner to complete different geography challenge cards that dealt with elevation, annual rainfall, and population density. We wrapped up our time together by reviewing the vocabulary and concepts for the chapter. It was a great review for our Chapter 2 test which will be next Friday, September 24.
Homework:
***Our test over Chapter 2 will be on September 24. Start rereading the chapter and studying the vocabulary in your folder a little each night!
