Wet Wednesday!

Today flew by!

In Language Arts, we completed a "You're the Teacher" that reviewed spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and proper nouns. We also listened to our read aloud.

Homework: Our Grammar packet is due on Friday.
Read, Read, Read! Please remember to record your minutes on the calendar in the planner.

In Math, we worked on computation problems that dealt with area and perimeter. We took a quick math quiz over these two standards. The students are grasping this so much better. Look for the quiz to come home tomorrow for a parent signature.

Homework: Pages 278, 279, 281

In Social Studies, we completed our projects today. If it was not handed in today, it is due first thing in the morning.

Homework: None- This was the last day for Mrs. Woods' class. I will start with my homeroom tomorrow. We will start with Chapter 2.

Reminders:
***Mr. Glassman will visit our school tomorrow. The students always look forward to his visit.
***Friday is Stuffed Animal Day. Please bring in $1.00 to help our school adopt a snow leopard.
***Today is the last day of the first grading period.

Until tomorrow...
