Snow...YUCK!
Today was another short day! Hooray! With the temperatures dropping outside, it sure sounds fun to be able to go home, cover up, and relax.
Today in Language Arts the students played a game to review their word roots in Vocabulary Vine, worked on a grammar warm-up, listened to their read aloud, completed a few strokes in handwriting, and had almost an entire music class.
Tomorrow is our dance celebration! I can hardly wait to see the students in action up on the stage.
Reminders:
***My Social Studies class has the chapter 2 review that was assigned last Friday. It will be due on Monday, November 3. The students will have had over a week and a half to complete this, so I do not anticipate any "oops" slips. Please ask your child if they have it completed and if they know where it is to turn in on Monday.
***Reading minutes for October were counted today. They look much better this month! Thank you parents for recording minutes and initialing on the calendar in the planner. It makes counting minutes so much faster.
